Rubbish Club Joins the Brisbane Marathon Festival Cleanup Effort

We are excited to share that Rubbish Club has been invited to assist with the cleanup for the upcoming 2025 EVA Air Brisbane Marathon Festival on Sunday, June 1st . This opportunity allows us to contribute to one of Brisbane's most cherished community events, and we are grateful for the chance to support the city we love.

A Community Effort

Since our inception, Rubbish Club has been about more than just picking up litter; it's about fostering community spirit and taking collective responsibility for our environment. Being part of the marathon's cleanup aligns perfectly with our mission to keep Brisbane beautiful and sustainable.

Our Role on Race Day

After the final runners cross the finish line, our team will begin the post-event cleanup. We'll be walking the course, collecting and sorting waste to ensure that the streets are returned to their pristine state. Our goal is to minimize the environmental impact of the event and promote recycling wherever possible.
